Double handed pot holder

Double handed pot holder measures about 30 inches by 8 inches and is great for taking large dishes from the oven. It protects your hands from the heat and your clothing from spills and heat if you lean into the dish. It can also be used as a hot pad or table runner on the dining table.

Many pot holders are made with a single layer of cotton batting or Insul-Bright® but both of these products are needed. The cotton batting helps absorb steam from the heat and Insul-Bright® is a heat resistant material that keeps the heat from your hands.

This potholder is made with a layer of cotton batting and Insul-Bright® throughout and the ends for hands have a 2nd layer of Insul-Bright® for extra protection. The layers are quilted together making them thick, but flexible, sturdy and pretty.
